"I am visiting from out of town and wanted to treat myself and my daughter and niece to pedicures. I called Glamour around 2 pm and made my request. They kindly explained that they could accommodate me, but that they only had one nail technician so they would have to take us in order rather than all at once. They said that we could sit together and that they had coffee and other beverages. I made appointments for the two girls but decided not to get an appointment for myself, so the girls wouldn't have to wait as long.
First, the salon has good signage and is easily located, with ample parking. We were greeted kindly at the reception desk and welcomed by our manicurist, Tanya. She appeared delighted to work on the girls and a few other people in the salon commented on how lovely they were. (In my experience, salons are not always as welcoming to young customers, so this was particularly nice.)
She offered the girls and me beverages (we had hot cocoa and mochas) and had them seated next to each other in the big comfy pedicure chairs. She directed me to a nearby seat with a table for me to set up my laptop and work. A gentleman stopped by after a few minutes and offered me the wifi password, which I gratefully accepted.
I worked comfortably for almost two hours while the girls got their toes done. At the end, Tanya fitted the girls with the thin foam flip flops and I paid, took their shoes and pulled up the car.
The price for a pedicure was very reasonable, and Tanya worked hard to scrub the girls' feet and massage their legs. The salon was clean and warm on a chilly day, and everyone I encountered was very friendly. I can't say enough good things!"
